Vanderbilt Law School's Registrar's office provides academic information and policy services to faculty, staff, students, alumni and others. Our policies and processes are designed to ensure the integrity and protection of all academic records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA: 20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99). FERPA requires that schools have written permission from the student or graduate to release any information related to that individual’s education record.
Transcripts
Official transcripts for current students and alumni may be obtained free of charge from the Vanderbilt University Registrar. To request a transcript online: www.registrar.vanderbilt.edu
Bar Applications
The Registrar's Office at Vanderbilt Law School provides the Dean's Certification for all Bar Applications.
A notarized letter MUST accompany all requests for the release of academic information. Please include in your request the name under which you attended Vanderbilt Law School and your graduation year. Mail your request to:
