Visiting Scholars 2009-10

Vanderbilt Law School is hosting three distinguished visiting scholars from China and Korea during 2009-10. They include:

Judge Chang Hyun Bang is a judge in the Bucheon Branch Court of Incheon District, South Korea. He is a graduate of Seoul National University, Department of Law, and the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. He will be here for the entire 2009-10 academic year.

Xiaying Mei is a professor of law at The University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. He has done extensive research on property law. He will be at Vanderbilt Law School from October 20, 2009 to March 20, 2010.

Zhang Xiao-Ru is an associate professor in the Law School of Beihang University (BUAA) in Beijing, PRC. She works in areas of civil procedure and civil justice reform, and during her visit has an association with the Branstetter Litigation and Dispute Resolution Program. She will be at Vanderbilt Law School through February 2010.
