LAW 710: Economics of Regulation and Antitrust

The purpose of this course is to examine the economic tools lawyers and economics experts use in analyzing antitrust and regulatory policy issues. The emphasis will be on economic principles for sound government policies in these areas as opposed to cases. The course is intended to provide a comprehensive analysis across a wide spectrum of topics pertaining to regulatory and antitrust policies. Previous background in economics is beneficial but not essential. The course is self-contained. [3 credit hours]
