LAW 774: Health Law and Policy

This course will examine the legal rights and obligations facing the physician in the practice of modern medicine. These legal rights and obligations arise out of the physician's relationship with his or her patients, hospital, employer (HMO, etc.), fellow physicians, professional organizations, insurance providers, and various regulatory agencies. [3 credit hours]
