This short course will introduce students to Community Economic Development law and policy and expose them to practical transactional lawyering skills required to create affordable housing, start microenterprise development organizations, create small businesses, form nonprofit organizations and obtain federal tax exemption, and conduct business negotiations, etc. [1]
