LAW 854: Partnership Taxation

This course will cover the tax planning considerations and tax consequences involved in the formation, operation, and dissolution of general and limited partnerships. Coverage may include: the effect of at-risk and passive activity rules; the tax consequences of partial withdrawals and complete dissolutions, mergers, and consolidations; and the use of special forms of partnerships. Pre-requisite: Federal Tax Law. [2-3]
