LAW 822: Patent Litigation

An intensive course examining the basics of litigating intellectual property disputes in a United States District Court, with particular emphasis on patent litigation, from the drafting of the Complaint, through “Markman” claims construction proceedings, fact and expert discovery, international discovery practice, dispositive motions practice, trial, and post-trial proceedings. Pre-requisite or co-requisite: Either an Intellectual Property course or a patents course. [1 credit hour]
