LAW 697: Protection of Property Rights: A Comparative Approach

This course is designed to acquaint students with the protection afforded property ownership in different legal cultures. Topics considered will involve issues arising in such areas as eminent domain, contractual freedom, definitions of property, limitations of ownership rights through governmental regulation and the relationship between private property rights and individual liberty. [2 credit hours]
