Bookmark and Share

The securities fraud enforcement regime in United States uniquely utilizes class actions as a major supplement to public enforcement efforts. This seminar will introduce students to competing perspectives on the value of securities class actions and the major legislative and judicial reforms in the area, and will contrast the approach to securities fraud enforcement in the United States to that in other nations with developed capital markets.
