LAW 824: Securities Regulation

The focus of this course will be the regulation of capital formation under the Securities Act of 1933 and the disclosure provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. An additional focus is the inter-relationship of the two primary federal securities statutes and the SEC’s attempt to integrate securities regulations into a coherent regulatory system. Regular attendance and preparation are expected. The course grade will be based on an exam and problems. Students taking this course cannot take Securities Regulation Act of 1933. Pre-requisite: Corporations and Business Entities or Corporations. [3 credit hours]

LAW 825: Securities Regulation

This is the four-credit option of the above course. [4 credit hours]
