Class Credits
Classes offered through the Vanderbilt in Venice program are graded, and each class earns 2 credit hours. Vanderbilt law students have a eight-credit limit on summer work during any one summer that can be applied toward graduation requirements, and no more than 8 summer credits can be applied overall. If you attend another law school, you will need to ask if credits earned through the Vanderbilt in Venice program will apply toward your graduation requirements.

Refund Policy
Vanderbilt Law School will refund $100 of the $250 program deposit only if we receive written notice of withdrawal before the close of business on May 1. Partial tuition refunds of up to a maximum of the full tuition amount less $300 will be considered only if a serious medical condition makes attendance impossible. The deadline to request a partial refund of tuition and other charges is May 15.

Cancellation Policy
Vanderbilt Law School reserves the right to alter or cancel the program due to compelling circumstances. Should the program be cancelled, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded.

By submitting an application, you verify that the information provided is accurate and that you have read and understood the program's policies relating to credits, refunds and cancellation. If accepted to the above program, you agree to abide by its regulations, including those of Vanderbilt University Law School.

To be considered for the Summer in Venice program, you must complete and submit an application. If accepted into the program, you will receive instructions about paying tuition and fees online by credit card.

You are required to pay an application fee of $75.00 by check payable to Vanderbilt Law School. This fee must be included with your application and is non-refundable. This application fee should be mailed to Vanderbilt Law School Admissions/Venice Program, 131 21st Avenue South, Nashville TN 37203.
