Jim Neal '57 honored in Nashville Bar Journal
The Nashville Bar Journal, the monthly magazine of the Nashville Bar Association, devoted its December/January issue to a tribute to Jim Neal, Class of 1957, who died October 21 at age 81. Neal had spent much of his career as a high-profile trial lawyer with Neal & Harwell, the Nashville firm he cofounded in 1971 with Aubrey B. Harwell Jr., Class of 1967.
Read “Jim Neal: An Appreciation,” a cover-story tribute by Bill Ramsey, a partner of Neal & Harwell. The tribute begins on page 6 of the Nashville Bar Journal, and is followed on page 8 by excerpts from two talks given by Neal during 2009 at the University of Tennessee College of Law and at the Tennessee Supreme Court dinner, in which he discusses his lengthy and successful career as a trial lawyer.
