The Founders Circle is the law school's leadership donor society. Last year, over 400 alumni and friends chose to show their support to the law school by joining the Founders Circle through a contribution (restricted or unrestricted) at any of the following levels:
Barristers -- $1,000 to $2,499 annually
Magistrates -- $2,500 to $4,999 annually
Dean's List -- $5,000 to $9,999 annually
Chancellor's Council -- $10,000 to $24,999 annually
Cornelius Vanderbilt -- $25,000 and above annually

Founders Circle members are invited to an annual dinner with Dean Ed Rubin, law school administrators and special guests to celebrate their generosity.
The 2008 Founders Circle dinner was held on Friday, April 18 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with cocktails beginning at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:15 p.m. Dean Ed Rubin and National Council President Frank Garrison (JD'79) presented the Distinguished Alumnus Award to Chairman of Fidelity Bank, James B. Miller Jr., (JD'64) and the Distinguished Service Award to Nashville Mayor Karl F. Dean, (JD'81).
