Book Award Sponsorships

Book Awards – also called "Scholastic Excellence Awards" – recognize the top students in specific courses and provide essential unrestricted support to the law school. When you sponsor a Book Award, you provide the critical resources needed to support the law school’s student, academic and faculty development programs. Contributions may be individual, corporate or a combination of both.

Sponsoring a Book Award is a great way to…

  • Recognize your firm
  • Honor a colleague, former classmate or favorite professor
  • Celebrate your own personal accomplishments
  • Memorialize a loved one or a colleague

Each Book Award winner receives a personalized plaque recognizing the sponsor, which indicates the course and semester. Each sponsor also receives a handsome plaque recognizing your gift, along with membership in the law school’s Founders Circle donor society and recognition in Vanderbilt Lawyer, Vanderbilt Law School’s official alumni magazine.
