Brian S. Miller '95 confirmed U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas

Brian S. Miller, '95, has been appointed a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

Judge Miller was appointed to the Arkansas Court of Appeals in 2007. He had previously served as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Phillips County, Arkansas, from 2000 to 2006, and as a city attorney for Helena, Arkansas, from 1995 to 2006. He was also an associate with Martin Tate Morrow & Marston from 1995-2006. He is a member of the bar in the states of Tennessee and Arkansas.

He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas after serving in the U.S. Navy from 1985-89.

His appointment to the U.S. District Court bench was confirmed on April 10.
