Drowota III Scholarship by the Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation. Hagenbuch is one of seven recipients of $1,000 scholarships from the Foundation for 2009-10. The scholarship Hagenbuch received honors 1965 Vanderbilt Law graduate Judge Frank F. Drowota III, who recently retired from the Tennessee Supreme Court. Hagenbuch serves as Co-President of OUTlaw and as a member of various organizations including the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, the Vanderbilt Legal Aid Society, and the American Constitution Society. As an intern for Obama for America, he helped research and respond to legal questions on a variety of intellectual property and employment law issues, and also focused on election law and voter protection issues. Hagenbuch graduated with highest honors and as a Ledger & Quill Scholar from DePaul University in 2003 with a B.S. in commerce. The Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation was established in 1995 by the membership of the Tennessee Judicial Conference, which consists of all state rial and appellate judges, to award need-based scholarships to students attending law school in Tennessee. Scholarships are funded largely through gifts from members of the Tennessee judiciary. Hagenbuch was one of seven recipients representing four Tennessee law schools. Hagenbuch has also been awarded a Latham & Watkins Diversity Scholarship of $10,000 for the 2009-10 school year. |
