Vanderbilt University Law School
Reciprocity
The Career Services Office of Vanderbilt University Law School will provide reasonable use of its services to graduates of ABA approved law schools on the following terms:
- Requests for reciprocity must be made in writing by a placement official and received in advance of any services being extended to the graduate.
- The number of graduates from each requesting law school is limited to one until reciprocity has been extended to one Vanderbilt Law School graduate at the requesting school.
- Duration of reciprocity is for three months. No reciprocity is available from August 1 through November 1 or from February 1 through March 1 due to the press of our on-campus recruiting seasons.
- Job notices for law school graduates or experienced attorneys can be accessed online (https://law-vanderbilt-csm.symplicity.com/students/). Access is password-protected. Once reciprocity has been extended, the Career Services Office will provide a password.
- Individual counselling sessions are not available.
- On-campus interviews with prospective employers are not permitted under any circumstances.
- Because of security arrangements, a reciprocity individual must identify him/herself to a Career Services official immediately upon entering the Career Services Office by a copy of the letter granting reciprocity to the graduate.
