U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces

The Court will hear argument in one case, United States v. Durbin, which involves the issue of a Military Rule of Evidence 504 claim of spousal privilege in the context of a Air Force court-martial proceeding for possession of child pornography.

The Appellate Litigation Clinic will appear as amicus curiae in support of Technical Sergeant Durbin, and one clinic student will argue before the Court.

Captain Coretta Gray, Counsel for the Air Force, is a 2001 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, and Scott Goldman, Vanderbilt Law Class of 2009, will attend in his capacity as clerk to Chief Judge Andrew Effron. 

After the argument concludes, the Court will hold a Q&A session with students.
