BiographyWilliam H. Farmer is a founding member of Farmer & Luna, where his practice emphasizes commercial, tort, probate and criminal litigation, land condemnation matters, and attorney discipline matters. Before joining Farmer & Luna, Professor Farmer was a member of the Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis Litigation Practice Group for trial and appellate practice in general civil and criminal litigation, toxic tort and environmental litigation. Professor Farmer was an Assistant United States Attorney from 1974 to 1978. He served as Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Tennessee from 1978 to 1984;,and he was an Advocate General for the State of Tennessee from 1984 to 1986.
