Michael Bressman, director of Vanderbilt Law School’s Clerkship Program, has announced that 48 Vanderbilt Law students and recent graduates, including 24 members of the Class of 2015, have secured 51 clerkships to be served in 2015-16 or in future terms.
VLS students and graduates secured federal appellate clerkships with judges on 11 of the 13 circuits, including the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh and D.C. Circuits; in federal district courts in the District of Columbia and 13 states—Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Utah—and in a federal bankruptcy court in Tennessee. Graduates also secured clerkships in the South Carolina Supreme Court and in state courts in Florida, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Unless indicated otherwise, clerks will be serving during the 2015-16 term.
