Scott Goldman ’09 reports from Afghanistan

Scott Goldman ’09, seen here on a C-130 with some Afghan partners, has been providing support and leadership as a captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps to Afghan judges and prosecutors as they build the country’s criminal justice system. His posting has taken him to Kabul, meetings at an Afghan castle in Khost City and a qalat, or fortress, converted to barracks in Paktiya. He has also served with Task Force Currahee of the 101st Airborne Division, even going on patrol with Easy Company, the unit featured in Band of Brothers.
