If you will have a J.D. at the time of matriculation to the Ph.D. program, complete the Law and Economics application through the Vanderbilt Graduate School.

If you will not have a J.D. at the time of matriculation and you are applying to J.D. programs at other universities, you must complete both a Law and Economics application and a J.D. application.

If you will not have a J.D. at the time of matriculation and you are not applying to other J.D. programs, you must complete the Law and Economics application and take the LSAT, but  you need not complete a separate J.D. application.
