Merit Scholarships

Law School Merit Scholarships

All admitted JD applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships provided by the Law School. These scholarships are awarded in varying amounts. Recipients are determined on the basis of information contained in the application for admission, and are notified as scholarship decisions are made.

Law Scholars Merit Awards

Each year, Vanderbilt provides several merit awards valued at more than full tuition to admitted applicants through a competitive selection process. To be considered, admitted applicants must complete the Application for Law Scholars Merit Awards contained in the application for admission. This form may be submitted with an application for admission (recommended) or may be sent separately after an application for admission has been filed. In either case, the deadline for submitting Law Scholars applications is January 10.
