Dear SEAL members:
The Ninth SEAL Scholarship Conference is now scheduled for Friday October 26 and Saturday October 27, 2007, here at Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington. The intended travel days will be October 25 and 28, although we might finish early enough on the second day of the Conference that it would be possible to catch a flight out on Saturday night.
I have reserved rooms in two places, the Grant Street Inn, 800-328-4350, and the Indiana Memorial Union. For either place, you will need to tell the receptionist that you are with the SEAL conference since all the rooms are booked for SEAL.
Unless you are travelling with children under 12, I am recommending the Grant Street Inn because it offers a better breakfast, which is included in the price of the room. In addition, I anticipate that most of the Conference participants will book their rooms there, so it will serve as a nice gathering place. Tell the receptionist that you are with the SEAL conference to take advantage of the SEAL rates [$89 for Thursday and
$109 Friday and Saturday]. As the Grant Street Inn might not be large enough to hold everyone, you might want to book soon. You can see some pictures here: http://www.grantstinn.com/gallery.html.
