Notice of August 24, 2000

The 3rd Annual SEAL Conference, on October 13 & 14 at the Indiana University School of Law, is fast approaching. If you wish to join the others who have already registered, please register soon. Registration information appears at: 2000Conference/00ConfRegForm.htm 

Also, please note that the Registration fee increases from $175 to $195 one month before the conference (on September 13th).

Our Keynote Speaker is David Buss, an evolutionary psychologist at the University of Texas, Austin. Buss is an internationally recognized researcher, and the author of "Evolutionary Psychology: The New Science of Mind," "The Evolution of Desire: Strategies of Human Mating," and "The Dangerous Passion : Why Jealousy Is As Necessary As Love and Sex." His recent work has focused on the evolutionary psychology of homicide.

Also, please note that the drop dead date for accommodation reservations at the Indiana Memorial Union (800-209-8145) is September 27. After the block of rooms currently being held for SEAL registrants fills or expires, there are no other rooms at the IMU available.
