The Environmental Law Society is an organization for students interested in learning more about environmental law and possible environmental legal careers. We have sponsored many activities since our founding, including speakers, social events and career panels. Our career panels have featured people with environmental legal careers in the government, non-profit sector, business and law firms, and have covered everything from general environmental careers to careers in specific areas, such as land conservation. We are currently working on strengthening the recycling program at Vanderbilt, formulating ties between the society and other environmental groups in Nashville, and continuing to sponsor environmental activities.
