Academic Programs

Vanderbilt's innovative academic programs connect rigorous intellectual training in legal theory with its immediate applications in practice, enabling Vanderbilt J.D. students to gain the skills, information and practical experience they need to function effectively as soon as they enter the legal profession. These flexible programs allow interested students to focus on a particular area of law or study more generally across areas to create individual courses of study tailored to individual goals and interests.

Certificate Program

Law & Business Program - Allows J.D. students to earn a certificate in Law & Business by choosing courses from among a designated Law & Business curriculum.
