"Vanderbilt is exactly the kind of place that produces great trial lawyers," wrote Harrison "Buzz" Frahn IV '96, a litigator with firm in Palo Alto, California, in a letter to the law school in which he enclosed a copy of the March 2009 ABA Journal. "The combination of academic rigor and an emphasis on being a 'normal' person results in a lawyer who has both the smarts to go toe-to-toe with anyone and the personality to be understood by a jury of regular folks, so it should come as no surprise to anyone who knows Vanderbilt Law School that these distinguished graduates occupy two of the seven precious spots."
