Kirsten Hildebrand

Kirsten Hildebrand teaches legal writing to first-year J.D. students. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Professor Hildebrand worked in the federal government in a variety of capacities, including as a trial attorney in the Criminal Division at the Department of Justice, as general counsel of a small federal government entity, and in policy positions at the White House Office of Homeland Security/Homeland Security Council. Professor Hildebrand also served as a judicial clerk for Senior Judge Leonard B. Sand of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
