Stanley Onyeador's practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, banking and credit, capital markets, corporate governance, board advisory and other areas. At Vanderbilt Law School, Professor Onyeador was elected to Order of the Coif and received the Philip G. Davidson III Memorial Award, which is awarded annually to the graduate who is dedicated to the law and its problem-solving role in society, and who provides exemplary leadership in service to the law school and the greater community. He served as executive editor of Vanderbilt Law Review
and on the managing boards of the Vanderbilt Bar Association, the Black Law Students Association and the Law and Business Society. Before law school, Onyeador worked as a business analyst at Public Consulting Group in Nashville, Tennessee.
