Stephanie Parker co-leads the business and tort litigation practice at Jones Day and oversees the firm’s product liability practice. Professor Parker has extensive experience trying and leading “bet the company” litigation, especially product liability and mass tort cases. In 2019, she led the team that won a complete defense verdict in Robinson v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., which was the retrial of a $23.6 billion plaintiff’s verdict. She also led the team that achieved a record-breaking patent infringement verdict for Idenix Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Merck & Co., which was the largest infringement verdict in U.S. history. Professor Parker has been honored as a National Law Journal “Winning Litigator,” among other professional recognition. She is a member of the Council of the American Law Institute.
