Course Information

Mediation is a consensual dispute resolution process in which a neutral third party (the mediator) attempts to facilitate a negotiated outcome between two disputants. This intensive course will provide students with a focused introduction to the theory and practice of mediation. It will be valuable both to the large group of students who will represent clients in the mediation process as well as the smaller group of students who might have some interest in serving as mediators in the future. Pass/Fail. Enrollment limited.
