Mergers and Acquisitions Short Course

This course is designed to introduce students with a basic understanding of corporation law to the fundamental and certain advanced topics in the law of mergers and acquisitions. The course will focus principally on the corporation law aspects, and to a lesser extent, on the securities regulation and deal documentation aspects of mergers and acquisitions. The course is not intended to address related tax, antitrust or accounting issues in detail. Enrollment limited. Pass/Fail. 

Prerequisite: Corporations or Corporations and Business Entities.

Note: Due to overlap in content, students who enroll in this course will not be eligible to take the four-credit hour Mergers & Acquisition course.
