A student develops his or her own research project and writes a substantial research paper under the supervision of a faculty member who agrees to supervise the paper. The criteria for a 'substantial research paper" are provided in the description of the requirements for the J.D. degree. The procedures for enrolling and completing the supervised research course are located on the Academic Life page of the Law School intranet under the headings, "Registration," and "Registration Forms."
Note: This course may be taken only once for credit. Faculty approval required.
