The Legal History of Voting Rights in America Seminar

This course examines historical and doctrinal issues in voting rights and reapportionment. Topics include the right to participate in the political system, the constraints of reapportionment and redistricting, the statutory provisions of the Voting Rights Act, and the impact of the law on non-citizens, racial and political minorities, and members of the majority group. Enrollment limited.
