All attorneys—whether litigators, deal-makers, prosecutors, criminal defense attorneys, or in-house counsel—spend much of their professional lives negotiating with clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and others. This class will focus on the theory and practice of negotiation. During each of the sessions, we will learn about negotiation through traditional lecture and discussion, but we will spend most of the time conducting demonstrations, exercises, and simulations.
