Global Conflict Resolution

This course explores the role of legal practitioners in five global conflict resolution and negotiation efforts spanning over two decades: Syria; South Africa; the Balkans; Yemen; and the Israeli Palestinian conflict. The focus is on how to reach resolution as a lawyer/diplomat while navigating rules of law, foreign policy, trade policy, and competing political interests. [1 credit]. Pass/Fail. Limited Enrollment
