19 members of the Class of 2021 selected for Order of the Coif

Nineteen members of the Class of 2021 have been selected to join the Order of the Coif. Vanderbilt’s new Order of the Coif members were announced by Amanda Rose, professor of law, who is president of the Vanderbilt Law School chapter of Order of the Coif.

Members of the Order of the Coif are selected by faculty approval and represent the top 10 percent of their graduating class.The Order of the Coif is a national honorary scholastic society. New members representing the Vanderbilt Law Class of 2021 include:

Samuel Tipton Baker of Birmingham, Alabama. He earned his B.A. at the University of Alabama. Baker is an associate with Troutman Sanders in Atlanta.

Nathan T. Campbell of Collierville, Tennessee. He earned his B.S. at the University of Alabama. Campbell is serving as a law clerk to Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Madeleine Hall Carpenter of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She earned her B.A. at the University of Mississippi. Carpenter is serving as a law clerk to Judge Julia Smith Gibbons of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Memphis, Tennessee.

Katherine Ann Cohen of Bellevue, Washington. She earned her B.A. at Dartmouth University. Cohen is serving as a law clerk to Judge Richard Hertling of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.

Thomas Scott Davidson of Hoover, Alabama. He earned his B.S. at the University of Virginia. Davidson has joined Bass Berry & Sims in Nashville. He received the Founder’s Medal for First Honors for the Class of 2021.

Spencer Finney of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He earned a B.S. and a B.A. at the University of Arkansas. Finney is an associate with Weil Gotshal & Manges in Dallas.

Benjamin S. Glicklich of Short Hills, New Jersey. He earned his B.B.A. at the University of Miami (Florida). He is an associate with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Tampa.

Alexandra Sasha Gombar of Hellertown, Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. at the University of North Carolina. Gombar is a staff attorney with the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta.

Alicia Felton Hoke of Rogers, Arkansas. She earned her B.A. at Transylvania University. Hoke is an associate with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York.

Jennifer E. King of Burleson, Texas. She earned her B.S. at Texas Christian University. She is an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in New York.

Tobias Ma of Deerfield, Illinois. He earned his B.S. at the University of Illinois. He is an associate with Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C.

Gregory F. Maczko of Brentwood, Tennessee. He earned his B.A. at Belmont University. Maczko is an associate with Bass Berry & Sims in Nashville.

Austin G. Maffei of Wadsworth, Ohio. He earned his B.A. at the College of Wooster. Maffei is an associate with Jones Day in Cleveland.

Nicholas M. Marquiss of Newman Lake, Washington. He earned his B.A. at Whitman College. He has joined Gibson Dunn & Crutcher in Washington, D.C.

Asha Lal Menon of Athens, Georgia. She earned her B.S. at the University of Georgia. Menon is an associate with Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York.

Nicolas H. Peck of Birmingham, Alabama. He earned his B.A. at Washington and Lee University. Peck is an associate with Maynard Cooper & Gale in Birmingham.

Patrick Ryan Perrier of O’Fallon, Illinois. He earned his B.A. at Stanford University. Perrier is an associate with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld in Houston.

Devin Michael Urness of Nashville. He earned his B.S.F.S. at Georgetown University. Urness is serving as a law clerk to Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Lucas R. Yordy of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He earned his B.S. at the University of Alabama. He has joined Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Nashville.
