Rodriquez’s nomination was announced July 13 by the White House.
Rodriquez has served as an assistant attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General of New York since 2014.
He was an associate at Deily & Glastetter in Albany from 2010 to 2014 and at Mahoney & Keane in New York City from 2005 to 2010.
He has been nominated to the seat to be vacated by Judge David M. Hurd, who is retiring.
Rodriguez earned his B.A. at Vanderbilt University in 2000 before earning his law degree at VLS in 2004.
