Kahlil Epps has won the Jordan A. Quick Memorial Award for the Class of 2022

Kahlil Epps has won the Jordan A. Quick Memorial Award for the Class of 2022. The award is given annually to the student judged to have made the greatest contribution to the quality of life at the law school through leadership with the Vanderbilt Bar Association.

Epps served as VBA president in 2021-22. He plans to join Wiley Rein in Washington, D.C., as an associate after graduation.

At Vanderbilt, Epps has served on the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council and participated in the Vanderbilt Legal Academy Scholarship Program.

He was a summer associate with Wiley Rein in Washington, D.C., during summer 2021. He worked at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in the Legal Counsel Division in summer 2020.

A native of Washington, D.C., Epps was a Dean’s Scholar. He earned his B.A. in English at Grinnell College and then was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Zagreb in Croatia before law school.
