Scott DeAngelis is a graduate of the Ph.D. Program in Law and Economics at Vanderbilt University. He earned both his J.D. and Ph.D. in law and economics in 2018. He earned his B.A. in business administration and economics with a minor in mathematics at Coe College in 2012. Mr. DeAngelis is a Vanderbilt Law & Economics Scholar. In 2014 he was granted an ABA Janet D. Steiger Fellowship. For his Fellowship, Mr. DeAngelis worked in the Consumer Protection Division of the Iowa Attorney General's Office in summer 2014. During his third year, Mr. DeAngelis shared the award for Best Brief for the Intramural Moot Court Competition 2014-2015. He served on the staff of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law in 2014-2015 and as Executive Article Selection Editor for VJTL in 2015-2016. His fields of interest are labor markets and human resources and risk and environmental regulation. Scott joined the law firm Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2018 as an associate.
