Elisabeth O’Neill Madden married Wesley Martin Mullen on September 19 in Newport, R.I. Elizabeth is an associate in the trusts and estates department of the New York law firm Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy. Before earning her law degree at Vanderbilt, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a master’s degree in international health policy from the London School of Economics. Dorothy Brackett was recognized as an Illinois Rising Star in 2009 by Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of employment and labor law. Posted 2-21-09
Candice Smith has joined Cook County State's Attorney's office in Chicago as a public prosecutor. The Cook County State's Attorneys office is the second largest prosecutor's office in the nation and prosecutes all criminal cases involving misdemeanor and felony crimes committed in Cook County, Illinois.

Scott Arron Maddock married Tracy Alexandra Pandaleon on May 31, 2008, in Nashville. They live in Chicago, IL. Tracy earned her B.S. degree from Vanderbilt in 2005. Brian P. Boyd has joined the Atlanta office of Fish & Richardson as an associate in its litigation group. Prior to joining Fish, Brian clerked for The Honorable Alvin A. Schall of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the federal circuit. Brian worked on the Vanderbilt Law Review and he received his B.S. in electrical engineering, with highest honor, from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003. He is admitted to practice in Georgia. Prior to law school, Brian worked as an electrical engineer at Schlumberger. Founded in 1878, Fish & Richardson is one of the largest law firms in the United States practicing exclusively in the areas of intellectual property, litigation and corporate law and has long represented great innovators, from pioneering inventors such as Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, and the Wright Brothers to today's technology leaders. Stephen Montgomery has joined Nashville law firm Neal & Harwell. Prior to joining Neal & Harwell, Stephen was a law clerk for the Honorable Alan E. Glenn in the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, Memphis. “We are very pleased that Stephen has joined our firm,” said Aubrey Harwell, managing partner. While at Vanderbilt, Stephen served as a research assistant in corporate and securities law; he was a law and business certificate recipient, and was also involved in the Vanderbilt Bar Association, the Vanderbilt Trial Advocacy Society, and the Vanderbilt Law Ambassadors. Daniel O. Barham, attorney with the law firm of Bricker & Eckler, has been appointed to serve on the central Ohio Make-A-Wish Foundation board of directors. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is part of the national Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana chapter. Headquartered in Columbus, the chapter has five regional offices and two satellite offices in the three states it serves. This chapter is one of the largest Make-A-Wish chapters in the country both in terms of regional population served and number of eligible wish children. Prior to joining Bricker, Daniel was a successful account manager and sales representative for companies such as AT Plastics and Ashland Chemical. While in law school, Daniel served as a summer associate for Bricker & Eckler. He earned his undergraduate degree in business from Texas A&M University. Posted 9-12-08
Ryan P. Logan has joined the Hunton & Williams Raleigh office as an associate with the privacy and information management practice group. Ryan formerly worked with Hunton & Williams’ Charlotte office. The Hunton & Williams privacy and information management practice group assists organizations in managing privacy and security risks associated with the collection, use and disclosure of consumer and employee personal information. While with the Charlotte office, Ryan’s practice focused on corporate finance and capital markets transactions, particularly asset securitization. Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University and while at Vanderbilt University he was a Chancellor’s Scholar and served as articles editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Maria Glover married Derek Tam Ho on June 22, 2008 in Washington, D.C. Maria is keeping her maiden name. She spent the 2007-08 year as a law clerk to Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, III of the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Charlottesville, Virginia. Posted 8-26-08
Julia Mitchell Elam has been selected as a 2008-2009 Louis Stokes Urban Health Policy Fellow by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in Washington, D.C. She said this will be the perfect opportunity to combine her public health and law backgrounds. Three Vanderbilt professors wrote recommendations for her and the fellowship starts in September. Linhong Zhang has joined the Wilmington, Del. office of Fish & Richardson as an associate in its Litigation Group. Prior to becoming an attorney, Linhong was a programmer analyst for Freddie Mac.
Lori Metrock has joined the Nashville, Tenn. office of Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz in the securities and corporate governance group.
Jacob Feldman has joined the Nashville, Tenn. firm of Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner as an associate. Jacob will work in the firm's securities, M&A, technology and intellectual property practices.
LaToya S. Brown has joined the Charlotte, N.C. office of Parker Poe Adams & Berstein as an associate in the Transactional Department.
Jake Kraemer has joined the commercial finance team in the Nashville law firm of Boult Cummings Conners & Berry.

Andrea Walker Green was appointed as an assistant district attorney for Davidson County, Tenn.
Erick Wang has joined the Houston office of Winstead in the Corporate and Securities practice group.
Natalie Beal McLaughlin has been named an associate at the Columbus, Ohio law firm of Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter. Natalie will practice primarily in the employment law area, representing management in all aspects of employee relations law. She also will assist clients in all aspects of litigation. Natalie married Michael McLaughlin on August 10, 2007 in Columbus Ohio.
