Logan has joined the Hunton & Williams Raleigh office as an associate with the privacy and information management practice group. Ryan formerly worked with Hunton & Williams’ Charlotte office. The Hunton & Williams privacy and information management practice group assists organizations in managing privacy and security risks associated with the collection, use and disclosure of consumer and employee personal information. While with the Charlotte office, Ryan’s practice focused on corporate finance and capital markets transactions, particularly asset securitization. Ryan received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University and while at Vanderbilt University he was a Chancellor’s Scholar and served as articles editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Maria Glover married Derek Tam Ho on June 22, 2008 in Washington, D.C. Maria is keeping her maiden name. She spent the 2007-08 year as a law clerk to Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, III of the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Charlottesville, Virginia. Julia Mitchell Elam has been selected as a 2008-2009 Louis Stokes Urban Health Policy Fellow at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, D.C. She said this will be the perfect opportunity to combine her public health and law backgrounds. Three Vanderbilt professors wrote recommendations for her and the fellowship starts in September. Elizabeth Gonser has joined the firm of Riley Warnock & Jacobson in Nashville, Tenn. She will focus her practice on commercial litigation. Jetta Sandin has joined Kelley Drye & Warren as a first-year associate at the firm’s Stamford, Conn. office
Andrea Walker Green was appointed as an assistant district attorney for Davidson County, Tenn. Erick Wang has joined the Houston office of Winstead in the Corporate and Securities practice group. Natalie Beal McLaughlin has been named an associate at the Columbus, Ohio law firm of Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter. Natalie will practice primarily in the employment law area, representing management in all aspects of employee relations law. She also will assist clients in all aspects of litigation.
