Judicial Clerkship Program
Vanderbilt encourages all of its students to consider serving as judicial clerks after graduation. The faculty takes an active role in providing advice and guidance through the clerkship application process, working closely and individually with interested students and recent graduates.Vanderbilt has placed students in all but one of the U.S. Courts of Appeals and in the Supreme Court and as a Bristow Fellow.
For the Class of 2011, 14.1 percent secured clerkships and 9.1 percent secured clerkships with Article III judges.
For the Class of 2010, 17.2 percent secured clerkships and 11.3 percent secured clerkships with Article III judges.
