Michael Bressman, director of Vanderbilt Law School’s Clerkship Program, has announced that 36 Vanderbilt Law students and graduates, including 25 members of the Class of 2014, secured 39 clerkships during the 2013-14 clerkship hiring cycle to be served in 2014-15 or future terms.
Vanderbilt Law students and graduates secured federal appellate clerkships with judges on the Fourth, Sixth, Eighth, Eleventh and D.C. Circuits; in federal district courts in 12 states—Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia—and in a federal bankruptcy court in Illinois. They also secured clerkships on the South Carolina Supreme Court and in other state courts in Alaska, Colorado, New Jersey, South Carolina and Tennessee. Unless indicated otherwise, clerks will be serving during the 2014-15 term.
