Hannah Frank, a fifth-year student in the Ph.D. Program in Law and Economics at Vanderbilt, has accepted a judicial clerkship with Judge Stephen A. Higginson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, to begin fall 2019.
Frank, a Law and Economics Scholar, earned her B.A. in economics with a minor in mathematics from Lewis and Clark College in 2013. In her 1L year, Ms. Frank earned a Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Award for Legal Writing II and won a Lightfoot, Franklin, & White Award for Best Oralist. She has also earned VSEAs for Actual Innocence and Mental Health Law. Ms. Frank served as a staff member for the Vanderbilt Law Review in 2015-2016. She served as Senior En Banc Editor for VLR in 2016-2017. Ms. Frank was the Associate Justice for the First Year Program on the Vanderbilt Moot Court Board in 2015-2016. She was selected as a 2016 Branstetter Summer Fellow and a 2017 Torry Johnson Summer Fellow. Her fields of interest are behavioral law and economics and labor markets and human resources.
