Michael Bressman, Director of Vanderbilt Law School’s Clerkship Program, has announced that 19 members of the Class of 2023 are serving as judicial clerks in courts nationwide in 2023-24 or future terms.
Members of the VLS Class of 2023 secured 21 clerkships with judges on the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, and D.C. Circuits; U.S. District Courts in Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah; the Court of International Trade; and state courts in New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C.
This announcement reflects clerkships for which Vanderbilt Law graduates in the Class of 2023 had been hired as of June 30, when the 2022-23 academic year ended. Unless indicated otherwise, clerks are serving during the 2023-24 term.
