32 Vanderbilt Law students serve summer internships for course credit

Thirty-two Vanderbilt Law students worked in the legal offices of federal government agencies, in the chambers of federal and state judges; in the offices of federal attorneys general and state district attorneys; with public interest and advocacy organizations; and in corporate legal offices for course credit during summer 2019. These students earned course credit for their work as legal interns in 11 states and Washington, D.C.

“Every summer, Vanderbilt Law students gain practical legal experience working in judicial chambers and law offices throughout the country and abroad and receive course credit,” said Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs Susan Kay. “Many students tell me their summer work experiences helped them decide which area of law they wanted to pursue as a career.”
