Michael Bressman, director of Vanderbilt Law School’s Clerkship Program, has announced that 49 Vanderbilt Law students and recent graduates, including 19 members of the Class of 2018, will serve in 52 clerkships in 2018-19 or future terms.
VLS students and graduates will serve federal clerkships with a Supreme Court justice; appellate judges on the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Ninth, Eleventh, D.C. and Federal Circuits; judges in districts in 12 states—Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia—and in Washington, D.C.; a bankruptcy judge in New York; and judges in state courts in Delaware and New Jersey. Unless indicated otherwise, clerks will serve during the 2018-19 term. This announcement reflects clerkships for which Vanderbilt students and graduates had been hired as of June 30, 2018.
