The March 31, 2022, discussion was sponsored by the United Nations Human Rights Council and hosted by the American Society of International Law. The Russian war against Ukraine has led to devastating destruction, displacement and loss of life. Human rights advocates have been methodically documenting violations of international law, including attacks targeting civilians and other war crimes.
