Biography
Margaret Artz is a counsel at WilmerHale, where she focuses on international arbitration from a range of industries, including renewable energy, aerospace and oil and gas. Before joining WilmerHale in 2016, she was an associate with Freshfield Bruckhaus Deringer based in Frankfurt, Germany. She was a law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee and and on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Professor Artz was a Raymonde I. Paul Scholar at Vanderbilt Law.
She has contributed to briefing and oral argument for domestic and international arbitrations, appellate and trial-court matters on a wide range of legal issues including contract, trade secret and intellectual property, constitutional law, federal civil and criminal procedure, administrative law, immigration, and employment. Her extensive pro bono practice includes merits, cert-stage, and amicus bries to the U.S. Supreme Court.
